Seated Tai Chi improves pain and quality of life.

In this pilot study a 12 weeks/once a week seated Tai Chi intervention was prescribed to persons with Spinal Cord Disorder. After the sessions participants reported improved emotional sense of well-being, mental distraction, physical sense of well-being and sense of spiritual connection. Also VAS pain improved. Larger long-term studies are needed to confirm these interesting pilot results.
